ICC World Cup 2019: Inzamam-ul-Haq Reveals His All-Time Pakistan’s World Cup Squad

Former Pakistan Cricket Team skipper and current selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has revealed his all-time Pakistan’s World Cup squad days before the ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales. Meanwhile, Pakistan didn’t had a good start as they went down to Afghanistan in their first warm-up games ahead of the competition. The 1992 World Champions need to pull up their socks and revamp their game before the campaign opener against Windies on May 31.

Inzamam picks his all-time Pakistan’s World Cup squad

Days ahead of the tournament which begins on May 30, Inzamam-ul-Haq has made some surprise picks in his team. The side led by Imran Khan under whose leadership Pakistan won their only World Cup, the former cricketer included the likes of Kamran Akmal and Sharjeel Khan which raised eyebrows of the fans. Along with Sharjeel, Inzamam named legendary cricketer Saeed Anwar for the opening pair.

Meanwhile, the middle order looks packed with the likes of Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, and Mohammad Yousuf. These three can give any bowling unit in the world a run for their money. All three can pace their game according to the situation, which makes them the best in the business. Hard-hitting all-rounder Shahid Afridi, who will slot in any Pakistan’s team will don the role of an all-rounder. Two of the best spinners to play the games, Abdul Qadir and Saqlain Mushtaq will lead their spin department alongside a world-class pace attack. Meanwhile, Kamran Akmal has found a place as the wicket-keeper who has rung a lot of eyeballs among cricket lovers of Pakistan.

Pakistan, over the years, have produced quality seamers who can bowl with pace and can swing the ball as well. Three legendary fast bowlers Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Shoaib Akhtar have find spots in Inzamam-ul-Haq’s all-time World Cup squad.
