ICC World Cup 2019: It’s A Pleasure To Watch Virat Kohli Play – Kane Williamson
Back then, in Under-19 World Cup, the Kane Williamson-led side has locked horns with Virat Kohli-led team. Once again, after a fine time, the duo leading their respective countries in the senior cricket ICC World Cup 2019. Speaking of the same, the Kiwis Skipper feels it special.
Ahead of the game against the Indian National Cricket Team, Kane Williamson told to the reporters that the games in Knock out will go either way, as the team, which displays best skills on that particular day will eventually get the result.

We were at the same age – Kane Williamson
Speaking of Virat Kohli dismissing Kane Williamson during under-19 days, the Kiwis skipper quoted that it is really cool. Further, he went on to speak on how things have changed since then.
“I actually hadn’t thought about that at all so I guess that’s kind of cool, isn’t it, that a few years later, we’re here again, perhaps on a slightly different stage, but pretty special and a lot of respects to being able to lead your country out in a semifinal on the biggest stage,” shared Kane Williamson.
”Virat used to be an all-rounder. I think back in the day, but hasn’t bowled as much recently. He was a formidable player, growing up — that seems odd to say because we were at the same age playing against each other on a number of occasions and then to go into international cricket at a youngish age, then IPL and these different sorts of things,” commented the Kiwi captain.
Virat Kohli evolved as a superstar:
Further, Kane Williamson quoted that the Indian skipper has evolved very much in International cricket. He concluded it by saying that watching Virat Kohli’s batting is a delightful sight.
“It’s obviously been a pleasure watching Virat play and evolve into the superstar that he is,” said the in-form captain.
Coming to the semi-final at Old Trafford, India is heading into the game on the back of three successive wins against West Indies, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. New Zealand on the other hand, lost their last three matches against Pakistan, Australia and England.
