Fielding is not about how well you grab the ball, it’s all about how quick you judge the ball and hit the target. In modern day cricket fielding plays a crucial role in winning the match. Every side gets balance if and only if their side is precisely quick in fielding. In between, the former Australian cricketer, Michael Clarke, who is arguably one of the best fielders in the world picked the current best fielder in the world.
Of late, fitness has become massive importance in the career of a cricketer. A few players have made their mark with their fitness, which helped them in every aspect of the game. One such is the fielding department, where we came across many players taking acrobatic catches on the field.
Recently, the skipper of South Africa Faf du Plessis and the all-rounder of England Ben Stokes showed their class in the middle. Ben Stokes pulled out a stunner in the sweeper cover against South Africa, which would be remembered for a long time.

No one is better than Ravindra Jadeja – Michael Clarke
Meanwhile, the former skipper of Australia, Michael Clarke, who himself an acrobatic fielder at point picked Ravindra Jadeja as the best fielder in the world. He rated Ravindra Jadeja ahead of all the other players for his incredible skills of fielding, catching and throwing the ball.
During the warm-up game between India and Bangladesh, Clarke quoted that there would be no fielder better than Jadeja in terms of saving runs and taking difficult catches.

“I think there’s no one better than him in world cricket, whether saving runs in the outfield or taking a difficult catch or direct hits, he’s just superb,” said Clarke during his commentary stint in the India vs Bangladesh warm-up game at Cardiff.
Well, as Clarke said, Ravindra Jadeja is the best fielder in the current setup for the Indian team. He would be in the action for Indian National Cricket Team when they lock horns against South Africa in their first world cup game.
