ICC World Cup 2019: Michael Vaughan Trolls Sanjay Manjrekar Yet Again With A Morphed Image

Well, the banter continues in the social media platform between Michael Vaughan and Sanjay Manjrekar. The former English cricketer is pulling the leg of Sanjay Manjrekar more often than not in recent times and guesses what? He once again does that but this time it is on Instagram, as Sanjay blocked Vaughan on Twitter.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan on Tuesday once again took a dig at cricketer-turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar after India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja broke a crucial partnership to jolt New Zealand during the World Cup 2019 semi-final against India in Manchester.

In the 19th over of the 1st semi-final of the 2019 World Cup, left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja snared New Zealand opener Henry Nicholls. The ball sneaked through Nicholls’ bat and pad to crack the stumps as Jadeja broke the 68-run stand between Nicholls and skipper Kane Williamson.

Soon after Jadeja’s crucial breakthrough for India, Michael Vaughan took to Twitter to pull Manjrekar’s leg over his ‘bits and pieces’ comments on the Indian bowling-all rounder. However, it seems this comment was too much for Manjrekar. Vaughan soon tweeted that he has been blocked by Majrekar on Twitter.

However, after Jadeja’s impressive bowling against Sri Lanka, Manjrekar surprised everyone by picking the former in his predicted playing XI for the New Zealand semi-final. The commentator later dropped the all-rounder from his squad and justified it in a thread of tweets.

“Come on Sanjay unblock me on Twitter … It’s only Bantz … !!!! #India”

Earlier, Sanjay Manjrekar quoted that he is not a big fan of Ravindra Jadeja, who is a bits and pieces player. He felt that Jadeja is a pure spinner in Test format but not a pure player in ODI format of the game.

In reply, Ravindra Jadeja quoted that he has played twice the matches, which Manjrekar played in his entire career. Further, he went on to ask Sanjay Manjrekar to have a control on his words before disrespecting the achievements of a certain cricketer.
