Nasser Hussain Thinks Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah Will Shine at World Cup
Amongst all the announcements, England and India have been named as the favourite teams of the team. Although, cricket has often proved to be a game of luck.
England has always performed well in World Cups but never did it won any. And with everyone making their bid about the teams, the players, the former England captain had named his favourite six players.
He praised Russell for his fantastic performance at the IPL while expecting Gayle to do “something very special”.
‘Russell has been out of the West Indies set up but is a fantastic player. Rashid Khan from Afghanistan is one of the best white-ball bowlers in the world,” Hussain told Sky Sports.
Hussain reasoned Bumrah to be one of the top bowlers in the world while called Kohli as the greatest player.
‘Another top bowler is Bumrah – he absolutely nails his yorkers and death bowling will be key throughout the tournament. ‘Kane Williamson, that quiet, smiling assassin from New Zealand… he always scores runs. And the greatest player in the world is in town in Virat Kohli.’
All the six names mentioned by Hussain have proved their mettle in cricket and are on top of the table.
Kohli being the best batsman of all while Bumrah’s spellbinding wicket-taking ability makes him best in the world.
Chris Gayle is the big game changer in the short format of cricket and Andre Russell has been picked as the greatest finisher. Whereas, Kane Williamson is called as brilliant captain and Rashid Khan has set a record for other spinners to surpass him.
