In the high-octane clash at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday (June), India rout Pakistan by 89 runs as per Duckworth Lewis method to make it 7-0 at the World Cup event against mercurial Pakistan. Interestingly, Rishabh Pant, who has been named as a cover for injured Shikhar Dhawan, had cherished his time-off at the stands with Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s daughter Ziva Dhoni.

Pant has landed in England on June 14 after hairline fracture to Dhawan’s left thumb, has ruled out Delhi-based star for at least three weeks. Also, Pant has begun practice on June 15 with Team India.

However, Pant made as an extra player who has further served drinks to his teammates in Manchester while donning Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s jersey. Unfortunately, the latter pulled a niggle during bowling which ruled him out for at least three games.

Earlier, Pant has failed to make it to the 15-member squad. The national selectors named Dinesh Karthik as the backup wicket-keeper for Dhoni.

Meanwhile, as India was going strong at the Old Trafford, Pant uniquely cheered team India alongside Dhoni. They were spotted at one of the stands of Manchester stadium as the video uploaded by Pant on his Instagram account revealed Ziva and Pant had a blast during the epic clash.

With India crushing Pakistan in a one-sided affair, Pant and Ziva shared some beautiful moments at the stands.

Also, they’ve shared some funny moments to win the internet.

Against Pakistan, Rohit Sharma’s hundred made a big difference by slamming a remarkable ton. Also, Virat Kohli (77) and KL Rahul (57) equally living up to the billing. In the bowling department, Kuldeep Yadav, Vijay Shankar and Hardik Pandya shared two wickets each. Thus, it helped India to restrict Pakistan to 212 for six in 40 overs owing to a rain-affected game
