ICC World Cup 2019: Team India Will Debut It’s First-Ever Away Kit – Nike Officially Reveals
Well, for the first time in the Indian Cricket history, the players are going to wear a Jersey apart from Blue colour. They will be wearing the Orange coloured Jersey for the game against England team. And also, it will be continued for all the away games that India’s play. Officially, Nike declared in the statement.
The much-anticipated look of the Indian National Cricket Team for the one-off game comes straight from the house of the kit providers. Official apparel sponsor of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Nike today announced that Team India will debut its first ever “Away Kit” in Birmingham on June 30.

Before the tournament, the ICC mandated that the tournament would follow in the steps of football and have a home and away jerseys, should the kits of the teams playing clash.
As per the new ICC rules, two teams cannot wear the same colour kit in a televised game. Only the host, in this case, England, can wear their original colour.
“Team India will debut its first-ever Away Kit in Birmingham on 30th June 2019. The ODI and Away Kit designs launched this year are inspired by the young new generation of India. And also, by the fearless spirit of the national teams,” Nike released a statement.
India’s blue kit comes with a shade of orange. The new jersey will see the primary Blue colour change to orange. India will wear their new kit in all the away ODI matches against England.
