South Africa had a horrible start to the World Cup which saw them losing their opener by 104 runs against England at the Kennington Oval in London.
Meanwhile, many didn’t expect this dismal show from the Proteas. The team had found things hard, particularly in the batting department. They tried their best at the fag end of the league stage fixtures by winning the remainder of the two games.
Like Bangladesh, the Proteas had won as many as three games, but it was all over for them.
