Aaron Finch was the guiding force in his side’s 87 runs win over Sri Lanka. The 32-year-old played a captain’s innings and started on an attacking note. Sri Lankan bowlers looked clueless as Finch stroked the ball in the gaps beautifully.
The right-hander wasn’t afraid to come down the track while facing the spinners. Any loose balls and Finch was up to the task. Finch didn’t allow the bowlers to dictate the terms and looked strong on both sides of the wicket. Finch was equally destructive playing the pull shots and cover drives.
