Wasim Akram:

The partner in the game of Waqar Younis had been the highest wicket-taker in ODI cricket, with 502 wickets, at the time he retired. Akram was the part of the destructive squad of Pakistan and sat third on the list with 55 wickets in his kit. He had played 38 games at an average of 23.84.
Akram, who was good with the bat as well, was an integral part of the team when they won their first World Cup in 1992 and also the one in 1999 when Pakistan ended up as runners-up. His best wicket haul being a figure of 5/28.
