One of the best records to break for Rohit Sharma is that he became the second Indian after Sachin Tendulkar to score 600 runs in a single world cup.

With four centuries already in his kitty, the 32-year-old has taken his consistency to another level. Rohit Sharma 2nd Indian to score 600 runs in WC:

Rohit Sharma became the 4th batsman and the 2nd Indian to score over 600 runs in a single edition of the World Cup. During India’s final league match of the 2019 Cricket World Cup, Rohit Sharma joined an elite list when he crossed 56.

Nonetheless, he joined Sachin Tendulkar in the unique list and became only the second Indian to the feat. Sachin Tendulkar had amassed as many as 673 runs in 13 innings at an astonishing average of 61.18 with a solitary hundred and six half-centuries in 2003 World Cup.

Rohit is already 3rd in the list of most century scorers for India in ODIs behind Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli and he has also hit the most sixes in one-day cricket for India. This has been a terrific year for Rohit Sharma so far.
