After drawing the criticism, Sarfraz Ahmad has warned his teammates that they will face wrath back home if they went on to lose their remainder of the game at the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019.

Currently, Pakistan is standing at ninth spot with just three points in their kitty after featuring in five matches. They have managed a single win against England by 14 runs. Recently, India has decimated Pakistan in the 22nd match of the World Cup in Manchester on June 16.

Following an 89 run loss (D/L method), the Men in Green faced sharp criticism for their below-par performance.

The wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz has himself struggled to score runs. He has cautioned team about the repercussion post the twelfth edition of the World Cup.

With a dip in form, Pakistan has struggled in all departments as a solitary show from World Cup’s leading wicket-taker Mohammad Amir could help his team’s cause in the United Kingdom.

The players have already received a backlash after failing to show-up against Men in Blue at the Old Trafford. In response to India’s 336 for five, Pakistan in a rain-truncated game managed 212 for six in 40 overs

The disappointing show from Pakistan has also given rise to speculations that alleged rift between players has spoiled an atmosphere in the dressing room.

According to Pakistan media, Sarfraz made it clear that he is not the only one who will face the wrath from the fans if the team fails to produce the desired results.

“If anyone thinks that I will go home, then it is their idiocy. If God forbid something unfortunate happens then I won’t be the only one going back home,” thenews.com.pk has quoted Sarfaraz as saying.

Also, Sarfraz has urged his teammates to forget humiliating loss at the hands of India. He wants them to give hundred per cent in the remainder of their fixtures.

“Forget the bad performance and uplift the team for the remaining four matches,” Sarfaraz added.

Recently, former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has deemed Sarfraz’s leadership as ‘brainless’. Also,  veteran all-rounder, Shoaib Malik has draw flak for the golden duck. Even, the latest videos of his outing with wife Sania Mirza has gone viral across social media platforms.

Interestingly, the reports are doing rounds that Imad Wasim alongside Imam-ul-Haq and Wahab Riaz are revolting against skipper Safraz.

In conclusion, the things have gone far worse for Pakistan after management decided against a wish of Sarfraz during India-Pakistan clash.

The reports revealed that Sarfraz was keen to play Mohammad Hasnain and Asif Ali against India. But the team management has decided against him.
