Fielding is not about how well you grab the ball, it’s all about how quick you judge the ball and hit the target. In modern day cricket fielding plays a crucial role in winning the match. Every side gets balance if and only if their side is precisely quick in fielding. Meanwhile, the Indian fielding coach Sridhar believes that Virat Kohli-led India got the best fielding side with the likes of Ravindra Jadeja.
Back then, Indian cricketers were notoriously famous for being lacklustre on the field and when MS Dhoni took over the captaincy, he emphasized on fitness. Players like Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli made it into the Indian team and the standard of fielding in the country improved dramatically.

Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja is the best inside the circle – R Sridhar
Ever since Virat Kohli became the skipper of the team, fitness has become a major priority. Currently, Team India is one of the best fielding outfits in the world along with England and South Africa. Meanwhile, coach R Sridhar quoted that India’s fielders have been razor-sharp in their opening World Cup games.
India fielding coach Ramakrishnan Sridhar is satisfied with Indian cricket team’s fielding. And also, the overall performance in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup. Sridhar believes that Team India is one of the best fielding sides in the world at the moment and possesses fielders who have the ability to intimidate any batsman.
“I’m very happy with the kind of resources I have. We have a terrific slip catcher and a safe catcher in Rohit. And, we have two guys, Virat and Jaddu, who are very intimidating to the position,” R Sridhar said to the reporters.

”They can intimidate any batsman. And, they are prowling in the 30-yard range. To complement that, we have a player in Hardik Pandya. He can really help when needed. We are safe catchers. We’re not fast bowlers.” Sridhar said.
