India physiotherapist Patrick Farhart’s tenure ended after the side crashed out of the World Cup with a semifinal loss to New Zealand and he bid adieu by thanking the BCCI for its support. India suffered a heartbreaking 18-run defeat at the hands of New Zealand in the first semifinal at the Old Trafford on Wednesday, 10 July.

In his tweet, Farhart quoted that the last day with the Indian team didn’t go as planned. However, he wishes all the best for the future of Indian cricket. He also thanked BCCI for giving him an opportunity to work with one of the best teams in the world cricket.

Meanwhile, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli took to Twitter thanking the duo for their exceptional service for the last four years. He also included a couple of lines on the friendship with them and wished all the best for their future endeavours.
