More often than not, we come across the Bollywood Actor Ranveer Singh cheering the Indian National Cricket Team from stands. Of late, especially, after taking the 1983 World Cup project, he is involving more with the team and almost travelling for every single game of India. Meanwhile, after the win against Pakistan, Ranveer Singh showers words of praise on the Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

At the ICC World Cup match between India and Pakistan on Sunday, viewers were enthralled by not just the performance of the Indian cricket team, but also by the antics of actor Ranveer Singh. The actor was seen at the venue, supporting the team and clicking pictures with a host of current and former players, including Indian captain, Virat Kohli.

Ranveer Sing, in his Instagram post, expressed his love for the Indian National Cricket team. Further, he went on to praise Virat Kohli for changing the state of the Indian team with his astute captaincy and the changes he made to the team by bringing in fitness mantra.

“I’ve been a die-hard fan of Indian cricket since childhood. Invested so much emotion into our beloved team. Willing and wanting them to be the undisputed best in the world. And then, there was VIRAT KOHLI. I’ve witnessed a brash boy evolve into the very embodiment of class,” the actor wrote.

Ranveer Singh quoted that Virat Kohli changed the face of Indian cricket and went on to hail him for leading the team like a warrior. He called Virat Kohli as the new hero of the Indian team.

“Displaying a rare brand of ferocity and passionate expression, he changed the face of Indian cricket forever. He’s well on his way to being hailed as the greatest of all time. Leading our country like a true alpha warrior. Yeh naya India hai, aur yeh banda naye India ka Hero hai. We are proud of you, Kaptaan,” he added.

 

Ranveer, who is in England to shoot for Kabir Khan’s 83, also shared pictures with cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Brian Lara, Harbhajan Singh, Sourav Ganguly, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan.
