The ICC World Cup Qualifier 2023 is currently underway in Zimbabwe. The ongoing competition will decide the final two spots for the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2023. The tournament got underway on 18 June with the clash between hosts Zimbabwe and Nepal.

A total of ten teams – Ireland, Nepal, Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, Sri Lanka, UAE, USA, West Indies and Zimbabwe – are participating in the ICC World Cup Qualifier 2023. The ten teams have been divided into two groups of five teams each.

Hosts Zimbabwe, two-time World Cup winners West Indies, Nepal, United States and Netherlands in Group A while 1996 World Cup winners Sri Lanka, Oman, Scotland, Ireland and United Arab Emirates are in Group B. The top three teams from each group will make it to the Super Six.

The six teams will play three further matches against the qualifiers from the other group, with the two results against teams from their own group carrying forward from the group stage. In the end, the top two teams will make it to the final and seal their spots in the ICC World Cup 2023.

Coming to ICC World Cup Qualifier 2023 Points Table after day 4, Zimbabwe and Oman are at the top of Group A and B respectively. Zimbabwe have earned two stunning wins over Nepal and Netherlands so far while Oman have defeated Ireland and United States.

In Group A, West Indies and Nepal are at the second and third spots respectively with 1 win each while the United States and Netherland are yet to open their accounts. In Group B, Sri Lanka and Scotland are at the second and third spots respectively after winning their opening games.
