With the second cycle of the ICC World Test Championship (ICC WTC) coming to an end, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the complete ICC WTC 2023-25 schedule.

The second WTC cycle came to an end last week at the Oval with the final between India and Australia. Australia thrashed India by 209 runs to clinch their first-ever WTC title. And Australia will be in action again this week when they take on England in the Ashes. The five-match series will kickstart the third WTC cycle.

The Pat Cummins-led side will play nine away Tests in the third cycle. Apart from visiting England, they will also visit New Zealand and Sri Lanka. At home, they will be locking horns against India (five), Pakistan (three) and the West Indies (two), for a total of 10 Tests. While Australia will be playing 19 games in the upcoming cycle, England will be playing 21 – 10 at home and 11 away.

After the five-match Ashes series, they will host the West Indies (3) and Sri Lanka (2). For the away assignment, they will visit India (five), Pakistan (3) and New Zealand (3).

ICC WTC 2023-25 schedule:

Team India will be starting their campaign in ICC WTC 2023-25 cycle with a two-match away Test series in West Indies, scheduled to be played next month. For the home assignments, they will host New Zealand for a three-match series, England for five Tests and Bangladesh for two matches. For the away assignments, they will be visiting Australia (five Tests) and South Africa (two Tests).

Talking about South Africa, they have got a favorable round of fixtures this time. The Proteas will be playing against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India at home while visiting New Zealand, West Indies and Bangladesh for the away assignments.
