It has been made mandatory by Saurashtra Cricket Association for the spectators to carry their ID proof who wants to buy ticket for the ODI match held between India and South Africa in Rajkot on 18th October.

The ODI will be played in the SCA stadium in Khandheri , which is in the outskirts of the city.

Mr Himanshu Shah the media manager of the SCA  said that while buying the tickets for the match one needs to provide his/her ID proof and so also one who buys the ticket online needs to show their ID proof before entering into the stadium.

Mr Shah also confirmed that the decision of showing the ID proof has been decided by the police department.

Gujarat Chief Minister Ananiben Patel has provided confirmation to SCA that she will be present for the post match ceremony of the third ODI of the five match series. Hardik Patel the, leader of Patel Quota has said that ‘Patels’ would attend the match in large quantity to raise their reservation demands during the third ODI.

In order to stop any type of disruption cause by them, the SCA has made new rules according to which one person can buy only one ticket. The selling of the ticket is expected to start from 12th October.
