The World Cup winning Indian captain has a lot of admirers all around the Globe and Ishant Sharma reveals his love towards the skipper of the national team in an interview.
Ishanth Sharma who has faced a stuttered career marked by injuries is now raring to go for Sunrisers Hyderabad in this edition of the IPL having recorvered fresh from a knee injury. Ishant shared his disappointment of missing out on the World Cup, but is excitd about the IPL.
When asked about missing the World Cup, Ishant said that he was fit and ready to go before a minor knee injury ruled him out of World Cup. Sharma who said that he would readily jump off a high building if the Indian skipper asked said that he was handled well by the staff and the players.
When asked about the frequency of the injuries Ishanth said that there are certain things he can’t avoid and that he is doing everything to stay fit for the whole season ahead. He also added that he is not rushing his return back to the sport.
Sharma who was not taking the T20 excuse for his liabilities said that coming back after a lay off is all in the mind and that confidence is all that is needed to hit a great form once you are fully fit.
