As Pakistan Cricket team has enjoyed the burgeoning success particularly in the limited-overs series of late, the all-rounder Imad Wasim revealed among all the teammates his skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has frequently been angry with him whenever he committed an error during a game in the recent past.
Pertinently, it has been the timelier on-field outburst from Karachi-born Sarfraz, who so far 80 One-day Internationals 38 Tests and 35 Tests for Pakistan since 2007.
Moreover, the 28-year-old bowling all-rounder Wasim reiterated he did not felt bad about Sarfraz’s on-field behaviour with him.
“Sarfraz Ahmed is mostly angry with me, But I have never felt bad about it,” Imad told BBC Urdu.

Not known for flaring-up, as Sarfraz has had maintained the cool and calm composure in the past, but as a skipper, he is now bound to display anger in a bid to shoulder the responsibility.
Interestingly, the behaviour of Sarfraz have had already drew the flak, but during the recently concluded bilateral series against Sri Lanka, the 30-year-old Karachi-born batsman revealed it’s part and parcel in the gentleman’s game.
Sarfraz, who occasionally lost his temper further went on to say at times he laughed-out at himself while watching the TV replays in which he was seen yelling at his teammate during the game.
“Sarfraz treats us like brothers on and off the field,” Imad remarked.

The young side of Pakistan is aware of the personality of Sarfraz and Imad has been one among the players who know Sarfraz since 2005.
“Since, I have known Sarfraz for almost twelve and a half years. It is obvious that when you are playing for Pakistan, you will be scolded if you commit mistakes,” Imad asserted.
However, it was visible during the ICC Champions Trophy when spin-bowling all-rounder Imad had to face the wrath of Sarfraz while donning the coloured jersey.
Sarfraz looked enraged when his teammates led him down particularly in the fielding, as he seemed to be more aggressive since he has been appointed as a leader
“We know the Sarfraz’s nature, this is not a new thing for us, but for those who do not know Sarfraz, this anger can be a new thing,” Imad concluded.
Under the dynamic leadership of Sarfraz Pakistan lifted the ICC Champions Trophy coveted title in June against arch-rivals India which took many by surprise as the Men in Green were considered more sort of underdogs in the tournament.
Sarfraz alongside, Indian counterpart Virat Kohli was leading the country for the first time in the major world cricket governing body ICC’s event which was held between June 1 to June 18 in England and Wales.
After Azhar Ali was relinquished from the captaincy soon after the drubbing against Australia in the series Down Under earlier this year, the wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz was straightaway asked by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to fill in the space in the One-day International format, before succeeding Misbah-Ul-Haq in the Test format.
The Swansea-born Imad, who is ranked number second in the ICC’s Twenty20 bowling charts, has further been a promising prospect in the limited-overs cricket for Pakistan.
Imad played 30 ODIs followed by 25 Twenty20 Internationals since making his debut inMay 2015 against Zimbabwe at Lahore.
