Pat Cummins – 3.5/10:
Pat Cummins, the bowling spearhead, was the only wicketless bowler in the bowling attack. At a time when Coulter – Nile was busy taking apart the Indian top order, Cummins failed to capitalise and pick a couple of wickets and damage India permanently in the contest.
He was tough to negotiate and was economical, but as mentioned earlier a wicket or two in his account would have made a lot of difference in Australia.
