IND vs AUS 2017 2nd T20I: Player ratings of Indian players
Australia defeated India in the second T20 by eight wickets in Guwahati.
India got bowled out for a paltry 118 runs in the first innings. Kedhar Jadhav top-scored for the Indian team with 27 runs. Hardik Pandya, who scored 25 runs, followed Jadhav but was unable to consolidate.
Jason Behrendroff earned four wickets of India’s top order. His wickets included Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey. He received assistance by the other bowlers., mainly Adam Zampa.
Australia hunted down the target in just 15.3 overs due to a 109-run partnership for the third wicket between Moises Henriques and Travis Head. Henriques scored 62 runs off 46 deliveries and Head scored 48 runs in 34 balls.

Rohit Sharma – 2/10
Rohit Sharma had a brilliant one day series and was the top scorer from the both the teams but has not made any meaningful contribution in the T20 series. He scored two boundaries in the first over but was trapped in front on the fourth delivery.
Shikhar Dhawan – 1/10
Shikhar Dhawan, who is making a comeback to the Indian team after a break, needs some time to get back into the same rhythm that he was in before going into the break. Dhawan scored two runs and got out playing a poor shot when India had already lost three wickets.
Virat Kohli (Captain) – 2/10
Virat Kohli scored his first duck in T20 cricket as he was caught and bowled by Jason Behrendorff but as a captain he was full of energy in the field and motivated the players to give some fight in the match. He also took two catches.
Manish Pandey – 1/10
India’s new number four has been struggling to find some form since coming back to the team. He struggled in the One Day series and has not made any contribution in the two T20’s. He played a poor shot without moving his feet to nick one to the keeper.
Kedhar Jadhav – 5/10
Kedar Jadhav scored most runs for the Indian team as he scored 27 runs. He lost his wicket to Adam Zampa playing a poor shot but before being dismissed he played some great shots to increase the run rate but failed and got out attempting to hit the ball out of the ground.
MS Dhoni – 2/10
MS Dhoni had a poor match as he failed with the bat and his decision in the second innings to not take a review proved to be costly as reply showed Henriques had clearly nicked the ball.
Hardik Pandya – 4/10
Hardik Pandya had a below par match as he scored 25 runs in the first innings and bowled just two overs giving away 13 runs. However, his presence at the crease in the first innings gave some hope to the Indian fans but he could not emulate his previous performances in this match.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar – 6/10
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar was the only bright spot in the Indian squad. He bowled three overs giving away just nine runs and picked up the crucial wicket of Aaron Finch.
Kuldeep yadav – 1/10
Kuldeep Yadav had a poor match as he was targeted by the Australian batsman and was hammered to all parts of the ground. He gave away 46 runs four overs with no wickets.
Jasprit Bumrah – 4/10
Jasprit Bumrah had an average match as he picked up one wicket for 25 runs in his three overs.
Yuzvendra Chahal – 2/10
Yuzvendra Chahal failed to trouble the two Australian batsmen and was expensive in his three overs as he gave away 29 runs.
