Mohammad Shami had an ordinary day of work, finishing his ten over spell wicketless at the cost of 62 runs. As numbers suggest, his performances did not hurt India, but it would have been better if he had managed to pick early wickets with the new ball just like most of the times when he opened the bowling for India.
His impact was very less overall although he ensured that not to leak runs.
