IND vs AUS 2017: BCCI Posts a Picture Of Indian Team Relaxing At the Airport
The Indian cricket team celebrated their 1-0 lead in the five-match ODI series against Australia with a rest day as the teams’ travels to Kolkata for the second ODI to be played on Thursday. The BCCI posted a picture of the players relaxing and chilling at the airport before boarding the flight. The caption of the picture was, “That is how you relax after taking a 1-0 lead. #TeamIndia #INDvAUS”

On Sunday, India defeated Australia by 26 runs via D/L method in a rain-affected match. India posted a respectable total of 281/7 in 50 overs courtesy India’s excellent all-rounder Hardik Pandya and their experienced campaigner MS Dhoni.
India was tottering at 87/5 in 21 overs when Dhoni and Pandya began the repairing work of the innings by playing a steady innings in the initial part of their respective innings. However, the surprising move in the partnership was that the youngster dominated the major of the partnership as he took the attack to Adam Zampa. He hit Zampa for 24 runs in one over which turned the tide in India‘s favor. India then dominated the proceeding from then on.
Dhoni also dominated the bowlers later in the Indian innings. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar also played well with the bat as he also scored 32 off 30 deliveries.
Every Indian player played his part in the match. The spinners played a crucial role in the innings as they held the Australian middle order and turned the match in India’s favor. The Australian innings was reduced to 21 overs with a revised total of 164 runs.
However, they only managed to score 137/9 in 21 overs.
The next match will be played on 21st September at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. India have a perfect opportunity to take a 2-0 lead in the series and put Australia on the back foot in the series.
