Last time India lost the ODI series against Australia at home

Last year in March 2019, Australia visited India for a five-match ODI series which resulted in the visitors marking the series under their name. It was the first time India lost a limited-overs series at home ever since they lost to South Africa in 2015 by 2-3.
Initially, India had the upper hand in that 2019 series against Australia as they finished the game opener with an amazing six wickets victory. The match was blessed with Kedhar Jadhav who bewitchingly aggregated unbeaten 81 runs from the game that helped the hosts chase down the target of 237 runs.
Similarly, in the second game, India put a target of 251 runs which the visitors were unable to chase and India had the lead with 2-0. However, Australia made a remarkable come back at the very right time of that series and finally won that nearly lost series.
However, that time of the last year, Aussies didn’t have David Warner and Steven Smith in their team and yet managed to register a remarkable series-win. And this time, the visitors will be laced with the two lethal batsmen who have the abilities to single-handedly change the game.
