The three-match ODI series between India and Australia is set for a grand finish. With the series locked at 1-1, the third match in Chennai will decide the fate of the series.
Australia will enter the game as slight favourites thanks to their fighting performance with the ball in the first ODI and the thumping win in the second game. They had India reeling at 16 for 3 and then 83 for 5 while defending a modest 188 in the series-opener.
And in the second game, the tourists just blew the hosts away. Led by Mitchell Starc’s 5-wicket haul, Australia bowled out India for a paltry total of 117. Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh then smashed unbeaten quick fifties to help their team chase down the total in just 11 overs.

India will be desperate to sort out some issues in the upcoming game like the struggle of their top-order as well as their poor bowling display in the powerplay. With the Chennai pitch known for assisting spinners, the hosts would be fancying their chances against the high-flying Australians.
