The cricket world is eagerly waiting for the IND vs AUS Test series to begin. The four-match series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is scheduled to begin on February 9 in Nagpur.

Both the teams will be looking to make a strong start in the series to gain the early momentum. Team India will definitely start the series as the favourites although Australia are more than capable of springing a surprise or two in Nagpur.

India have thoroughly dominated Australia in Tests at home as well as away from home in recent times. India have won the last three editions of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy including two in Australia. They have also not lost a Test series against Australia at home since the 2004/05 season.

IND vs AUS: Stage set for Border-Gavaskar series:

The IND vs AUS rivalry is not only about high-level cricket. It is also one of the fiercest rivalries in the game. Any clash between these two teams hardly conclude without sledging and banter. And it looks like the upcoming series won’t be any different.

Australian cricket fraternity has already setting the stage for a fiery series by delivering comments that could rile up the hosts. Former Australia wicketkeeper Ian Healy recently caused a stir with his comments about pitches in India.

And even before the dust could settle down, Cricket.com.au posted a video that has further not gone down well with the Indian cricket fraternity. Just a few days before the start of the IND vs AUS series, they posted a clip of India’s infamous collapse during the 2020 Adelaide Test where they were all out for 36.

Here are some of the reactions to the tweet:

Unsurprisingly, the tweet did not go down well with the Indian cricket fraternity and it did not take long to hit back at Australia.
