Virat Kohli, on Sunday (March 12), finally ended his century drought in Tests as he reached the triple-digit mark in the ongoing fourth Test against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The former India skipper had been going through a lean run in Tests in recent months. He had not scored a fifty in red-ball cricket since January last year and ended the wait on Saturday by scoring an unbeaten fifty. And on Sunday, he finally scored a Test century after a long gap of almost four years.

Prior to the ongoing Test, he had last scored a century in Tests way back in November 2019 during the Eden Gardens Test against Bangladesh. Since then, he played 23 Tests without scoring a century before finally ending the drought against Australia. It took Kohli 241 deliveries to score his century.
