ToggleIndia, on Sunday (February 19), thrashed Australia by 6 wickets to further boost their position in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship Points Table (ICC WTC Points Table). The win has also helped the hosts take an unassailable lead in the series as well as retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Unlike the first Test, Australia did put up a good fight in Delhi but their poor effort with the bat in the second innings eventually put them on the backfoot. After scoring 263 in their first innings, the visitors bowled out India for 262 on day 2.
