Only Individual Performances Can Help Australia stage A comeback – Gautam Gambhir

Gautham Gambhir said that only individual brilliance can help Australia to make a comeback in the series, not a collective performance. Meanwhile, former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir criticised the Australian batsmen’s approach in the 2nd innings–and added the shots played by them are “pathetic”.

“I believe you cannot teach defense to these batters now. If you try to improve your technique in the middle of the series, you won’t even score the 260 and 120 you scored. Only individual performances can help Australia stage a comeback and not a collective performance.”

Gambhir also urged Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith, and Marnus Labuschagne to come good for the visitors can stage a comeback in the series.
