Former Australian cricketer Michael Kasprowicz wants the Australian Team side to play to its strengths and urges them to go with three pacers in the Indore test. Having already lost the series 2-0 against India, Australia will look to bounce back in the Indore Test.
Michael Kasprowicz said that Cameron Green coming into the side will add strength to the team in batting and bowling, and Mitchell Starc will replace their skipper Pat Cummins who will miss out on a third test due to the ill health of his mother, speaking on SENQ Breakfast Kasprowicz said
“Coming up to this Test match with the line-up, Cameron Green is going to be picked. You’ll have Starc in for Cummins for other reasons he (Cummins) can’t be there. Green will come into the middle order, he may come in for Warner with the changes there.” He said

Kasprowicz stressed that Australia doesn’t need three spinners, as he wants Scott Boland to Replace Murphy or Kunhemann as he bowled very well in the first test against India. Boland probably bowled the best spell in the 1st test by a fast bowler
“We don’t need three spinners if it’s Murphy or Kunhemann (with Lyon), I reckon to get Boland in there. The reason why is he’ll build up pressure from one end, so from the other end – as we saw in that first Test with Murphy – he was able to take wickets at the because they weren’t scoring (off Boland),” he added.
Kasprowicz was part of the 2004-05 series that Australia last won in India. Australia will look to come up with a different strategy and plan under the leadership of Steve Smith.
Former Australian Cricketers Wants Scott Boland To Play The Third Test Against India
Former Australian Cricketers Greg Chappell and Mark Taylor want Scott Boland to Play the third test against India. Boland did not take a wicket in the first Test at Nagpur, but he was economical, conceding 34 runs in 17 overs, and has impressed with his line and length which troubled the Indian batters to score runs easily.
Former Australia captain Greg Chappell feels the team must go with their best bowlers, even if it means playing just two spinners Lyon and Murphy. Chappell wants Australia to play with three fast bowlers Scott Boland, Green, and Starc. Former captain Mark Taylor believes Australia should not blindly pick three spinners and keep the option of playing Boland after studying the pitch.
