Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin shared his view on the “Bazball” approach of England in red-ball cricket. Ravichandran has been an important player for India in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy. India defeated the visitors in the first two Tests with ease to take an unassailable lead in the four-match series.
Ravichandran Ashwin stressed that you can’t bat like T20 in test cricket and said that we need to respect the conditions and play accordingly and shared his opinion on “Bazball” and said that attacking cricket has its advantage and disadvantage to it.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ashwin said: “You can’t whack as you do in a T20. Secondly, we now have a concept called Bazball. England is playing fast-paced Test match cricket, They want to play a certain style of cricket.

“My ex-coach WV Raman used to tell me, “Hello, mister. Don’t challenge the conditions. Will you go to a beach and start swimming as you do in a swimming pool? You can’t, right? Ashwin added.
Ashwin, who was recently part of Dindigul Dragons in TNPL Auction 2023 is likely to lead them in this edition. Before this assignment, Ashwin will be an important part of the remaining Border-Gavaskar Trophy and then Indian Premier League where he will play for Rajasthan Royals.
