Australia has reached WTC Final after avoiding the clean sweep in the series and they will look to put a fine performance in the final test and draw the series 2-2, which will be one of the greatest come back on Indian soil.
Daniel Vettori Lauds Todd Murphy For His Bowling Efforts
Former New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori heaped praise on Todd Murphy for this impressive show in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy. Murphy played ahead of experienced Ashton Agar in the first test and picked up 7 wickets in the lone innings that Australia bowled.
“Steve Smith singled him out around his performances in the last Test. His spell allowed everyone around him to take those wickets. The fact that Kohli had never been stumped before that Test match in Delhi when Murphy got him out,” said Vettori.
Murphy who hasn’t played much first-class cricket has been impressive for Australia in this series. It will interesting to see whether Australia goes with the same combination or bring in a pacer for a spinner in the final test against India.
