Opening Woes – Since the retirement of Andrew Strauss, England team has experimented a total of nine candidates to tune with Alastair Cook but unfortunately, no one has been able to fill his boots. From Nick Compton to Adam Lyth, all have failed to put an end to England’s opening woes. This time, they have appointed Ben Duckett to perform this duty and it will be interesting to see whether he is able to set perfect tuning with Cook or not. To take a note, Duckett recently made his Test debut on Test series against Bangladesh and he could just score 92 runs in four innings, out of which 56 runs came in his last innings on that tour.
