He might be one of the fiercest players on the field, not giving the opposition even an inch but off the field, he likes to breach the security barriers to meet his fans, help others through his foundation and many other deeds that show a completely different facet of his personality.

Well, Saturday (November 25) saw yet another soft side of the dynamic player’s personality, as he took some time off from the practice session before the second day’s play of the ongoing second Test against Sri Lanka to play with a dog at Nagpur’s Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium.
The video posted by BCCI’s Twitter handle saw the India batting star could play with the dog before leaving the spot with a broad smile on his face.

Virat Kohli’s love for the dogs is well known. Early in January, he was spotted making friends with the sniffer dogs, in particular, a golden retriever called Prince, at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium in Pune before the One-Day International against England.
The 29-year old also frequently posts pictures of his pet dog Bruno on social media and has said in interviews that he has always had a pet dog. His first pet was a white Pomeranian, then he had a Golden Labrador Retriever called Rico, and now he has a beagle named Bruno.

In April this year, he had adopted 15 destitute dogs in Bengaluru.
