Jasprit Bumrah has been one of the best fast bowlers of the decade, however, he is often sidelined due to injuries. The Right arm pacer has been India’s best bowler across all three formats since his debut for the Men in Blue in International Cricket.

The 29-year-old  is seen as the leader of the Indian bowling unit has been sidelined with an injury since September 2022. Bumrah adds a different flavour to the bowling unit picking up at a crucial juncture for the team.

The Speedster availability will be crucial for Indian Team in the ODI World Cup 2023, India’s team failed to win a single ICC trophy post-Champions Trophy victory in 2013 under the leadership of legendary MS Dhoni. His injury has hurt the Indian team badly in the 2022 T20 World Cup and WTC final 2023, as they will look for his replacement in the future.

Prasidh Krishna has been one of the standout performers for India in ODI Cricket in recent times before his injury ruled out from the side for a considerable period. The Karnataka pacer was highly impressive for the Indian team in the opportunities provided to him, as he bowls hard lengths with a good pace in the new ball and the old ball.

The Karnataka youngster was highly impressive for Rajasthan Royals in 2022. In IPL 2022, the right-arm pacer scalped 19 wickets in 17 games, playing a pivotal role in Rajasthan Royals as RR finished as runners-up. In 14 50-over games, he has claimed 25 wickets at an economy rate of 5.32 and would be a valuable asset for the Indian team in all three formats of the game.

4. Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh Kumar can be more vital for the Indian team in red-ball cricket with his experience in domestic cricket can come in handy, With the old set pacers not being effective in International Cricket,  India would try to develop a new crop of fast bowling units to assist experienced pacers going into the next cycle. Mukesh Kumar first earned a national call-up for India’s ODI series against South Africa last year and has been in and around the India squad. The Bengal Pacer had a successful time recently, with terrific performances for India A and the Rest of India in the Irani Trophy he was the joint-highest wicket-taker in the series against New Zealand A.

5. Arshdeep Singh
