Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are two of the biggest stalwarts in Indian cricket over the last decade or so and they have been servicing the game for the past decade and continuing to dominate the game in this era, inspiring millions of youngsters to take up the game. However, there have been reports of a rift between the two greats of the game in recent years.

There was a talk that things were not good between high-profile Indian players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. According to various reports, they were some misunderstanding between two Indian stalwarts and it came to light after the 2019 World Cup, which head coach Ravi Shastri later resolved for the betterment of the team.

We were informed that there was a Rohit camp and a Virat camp, that someone had unfollowed another on social media – stuff that could be unsettling if you allowed it to fester.”

As he confirmed, that then-Indian head coach Ravi Shastri interfered in the matter to solve the issue between the Indian players for the good of Indian Cricket.

2. There Could Be Some Clashes And Times When You Are Not Happy With Someone – Shikhar Dhawan Indirect Say on The Clash

Shikhar Dhawan, who was regularly part of the Indian team since 2013, spoke about the incident he stated that India has a large group of players–and there is the possibility to have some clashes in the team.

“We have a 40-member team, which includes support staff and managers. There could be some clashes and times when you are not happy with someone. It happens. And why not? When things improve, the love also increases,” Dhawan on the incident between two superstars in Cricket.
Shikhar Dhawan’s statement once again proved that they were some sort of rift between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the team, post the 2019 World Cup.
