Young Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal said that he does not spend money on unnecessary things apart from Cricket and revealed that his IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals is currently managing his financial aspects as he looks to focus more on the game.
The Left-handed youngster has been the standout performer for Rajasthan Royals in the recently concluded Indian Premier League and impressed everyone which his fearless approach to batting at the top of the order, taking on the world-class bowlers in IPL 2023.
Speaking to the Indian Express, Yashasvi Jaiswal revealed that he was managing his finance for the last few years and said that he does not unnecessarily spend money and added that at present his finance was managed by Rajasthan Royals, as they guide the youngster to invest his money in right directions.
“To date, I have managed myself well. First, I trust my decisions. Secondly, I try and spend on things necessary for me. For example, I need a good diet and a good home for the family. I won’t say that I don’t spend much, I do, but not on anything unnecessary.”
“The primary thing for me is cricket; that’s my focus. I think in this matter, I have received a lot of support from Rajasthan Royals. They manage me financially, the franchise guides me on how I should invest my money,” Yashasvi Jaiswal said.
The Rajasthan Royals opener has scored 625 runs in 14 matches at an average of 48.08 and has hit five half-centuries and one century in the season. Notably, he was named the Emerging Player of the Season.

Yashasvi Jaiswal hailed the IPL franchises for taking care of their players throughout the year and expressed his gratitude to Rajasthan Royals for managing his finances and added that it depends on the players and franchise relations to work together.
“They take care of my finances so that I can focus on my cricket. I am grateful and have immense respect for all the franchises which are doing this for their players,” he added.
The Mumbai batter has been touted to make his international debut for India very soon as he has shown promises in domestic cricket for Mumbai in all three formats of the game.
