India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey revealed that the Indian team will try to utilize the all-around ability of Tilak Varma and Yashasvi Jaiswal as the team is working on the bowling of the youngsters in the team. These two players can be a vital addition to the Indian T20 team as they can chip in with a few overs in the middle.

Team India lacks a genuine all-rounder in the white-ball setup, especially at the top of the order, who is capable of bowling a few overs in the middle as former Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, and Yusuf Pathan, which has led to their failures in the recent ICC events.

Speaking to the media ahead of the 4th T20 against West Indies, Paras Mhambery said that it is good to have a part-time bowler, who can bowl some overs for the Indian team and asserted that Tilak Varma and Yashasvi Jaiswal have been good bowlers for India since their under U-19 days and revealed that they bowl at least one overs in the coming days.

“When you have someone who can chip in, it is nice. I have seen Tilak Varma and Yashasvi bowl since U19 days. They are capable of being good bowlers. They can work on it at this level. When you got options like these, it is nice to have them. We will see them bowl soon hopefully, we are working on it. It will take time. Soon, we will see them bowling an over at least,” Paras Mhambery said.

Tilak Varma has grabbed the eyes of many experts and fans for his outstanding performance in the last three matches against the West Indies. The Hyderabad cricketer had scored his maiden fifty in the second T20I and was left stranded on 49* in the third T20I to finish things for India and can be an important player for India in T20 cricket.
