Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif hailed young Indian opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal for a brilliant half-century against the West Indies in the crucial 4th game to keep the series alive 2-2 in the five-match T20 series. The Left-handed opener showed a lot of composure to finish things off for the Indian team on Saturday.
Yashasvi Jaiswal played exceedingly well for the Men in Blue after a poor debut in the T20 cricket as he took the West Indies bowlers for the start of his innings, as they struggled to stop the Indian youngster in the 4th T20 game and the southpaw remained unbeaten on 84 runs off 51 balls hitting 11 boundaries and three sixes in his innings.
Taking his Twitter account, Mohammad Kaif said that Yashasvi Jaiswal is more than ready for International cricket.

Yashasvi Jaiswal made it into the Indian team following a terrific IPL season with the Rajasthan Royals and a domestic season with Mumbai.
The left-handed opener displayed excellent composure, as the youngster showed a lot of grit and determination to score his maiden century in International cricket followed by a half-century in the 2nd test, and has made his opportunity count for the Indian team in the T20 Cricket.
The left-handed opener has scored 625 runs in 14 matches at an average of 48.08 and has hit five half-centuries and one century in IPL 2023. He was also named the Emerging Player of the Season and has impressed everyone with his fearless batting approach and he will look to continue his fine form going final game against the Men in Maroon on Sunday.
Former Indian opener Robin Uthappa also hailed the Indian openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill for their fantastic opening partnership to win the game and lauded the Indian bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav for their brilliance with the ball against the attacking West Indies batters.

Kuldeep Yadav has been the standout bowler for the Indian team in T20 cricket, as he picked up the crucial wickets in the middle overs alongside maintaining brilliant economy in the shorter format of the game and his role will be crucial for India in the series decider on Sunday.
