India B was able to thrash India A by seven wickets in the ongoing Quadrangular series. India A led by Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bat first. However, India A could only manage a paltry 217 runs.
Ambati Rayudu was the top scorer for India A side with 48 runs. India A side didn’t have the best of starts as they lost both their openers for just 21 runs. Krishnappa Gowtham played a quickfire inning of 35 runs from 32 balls to provide some impetus towards the end.

On the other hand, Prasidh Krishna was the chief destroyer of India A batting line-up. The Kolkata Knight Riders pacer was able to take four wickets. However, he leaked 50 runs in the eight overs he bowled.
The leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal scalped two wickets and gave away 38 runs in his ten overs quota.
Meanwhile, Mayank Agarwal suffered a blow to his hand while fielding. However, the in-form batsman was able to return to the field after taking the medical assessment.

The Karnataka batsman Agarwal continued his dream form as he scored a fine hundred to score more than 50% of the required runs. Mayank Agarwal scored 124 runs off 114 balls in which he scored 14 fours and three maximums. Meanwhile, Under-19 World Cup sensation Shubman Gill scored 42 runs.
Thus, India B was able to cruise to a comfortable win by seven wickets. This was India B second win of the ongoing Quadrangular series.
On the other hand, Australia A is in a strong position against South Africa A.
