India in danger of losing the number 3 rank team in One day international 1

With a series of ODI matches starting, the Indian Cricket team is in danger of losing the number 3 rank in ODI rankings. With direct qualification in mind for the World Cup 2019 in which seven top teams in the world will qualify automatically.

Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan in three match ODI series at Mirpur from Sunday. Pakistan will take on West Indies in UAE starting from 30th September and completing on 5th October. Bangladesh will take on England in three match ODI series from 7th October to 12th October.

South Africa who will take on Australia in 5 match ODI series starting from 30th September could rise up above India if they win the ODI series. If South Africa wins the series by 3-2 they will jump to 3rd and if they win the series by 4-1 will help them to go the second place.

Australia is currently at 124 points. If they win the series 3-2 they will remain same points. They will drop to 118 points if they lose the series 0-5.

Bangaldesh who is currently in 7th place has chance to move to sixth place if they win the series against Afghanistan by 3-0 and 2-1 margin. They will go above Sri Lanka because of decimal points.

England will stay in fifth place irrespective of the end result of ODI series. Pakistan who is currently 86 will jump to eight rank if they whitewash West Indies 3-0.

India who is currently in 3rd place because of decimal points has all chances of losing the 3rd rank. They will take on New Zealand in the five match ODI series starting from 16th October.
