New Zealand vs India 2020: India Team Takes a Day Off at the Blue Springs
After the intense fight in the last battle of the ODI series, the visiting India team has taken a day off from the cricketing schedule. The Test series is scheduled to take place from February 21 after the two teams indulge in a full-fledged three-day practice session. Meanwhile, the players were on sightseeing to the Blue Springs.
Earlier in the tour, India won the five-match T20I series and whitewashed the hosts from the series. New Zealand, whereas, made the come back in the next series and clean-swept India in the ODI series.
The Men in Blue struggled majorly in their fielding and bowling department during the ODI series.

And now, with the cricketing tour coming to a near end, things will certainly hype up in the last two games. The Indian Test cricketers Cheteshwar Pujara, Umesh Yadav, Wriddhiman Saha, and Ravichandran Ashwin joined the team during their field trip in Putaruru.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the pictures of the entire India team on its official Twitter handle. The players were pictured strolling around the Blue Springs in Putaruru.
BCCI captioned the pictures as:
“A long walk by the Blue Springs and a whole lot of fun with the teammates, that’s how #TeamIndia spent the day off ahead of the Test series.”

New Zealand playing XI will pick all the seniors and A-team players for the practice session. India, on the other hand, will have to look for the best options to win the coming two important Test matches.
The Virat Kohli-led team will have the last chance to make up for the ODI disaster.
The Indian youngsters, Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill will have the leisure of playing against Kiwis young pacers too.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and the coaches will have to look for the better choice from Ravichandran Ashwin and the all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in their spin department.
