India Should Play Ashwin in the 4th Test at Old Trafford-Kevin Pietersen
Recently Kevin Pietersen twitted about Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Kevin Pietersen on Thursday called for spinner Ravichandran Ashwin‘s addition in the Indian side for the fourth Test match against England at Old Trafford, as the tourists crashed to a 266-run defeat in the third Test match at Southampton. He was dropped for the first Test in Trent Bridge, since then there have been demands of Ashwin’s inclusion in the side. Kevin expressed his feelings in twitter by saying “England win I see…I love that the team selected for this Test has just won! I just love it! #boom. India have to play Ashwin…”
After the loss, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni would like to revisit his strategies as their four-bowler plan failed to get results for them in the third Test. Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that they need to improve their bowling and hit the top of stump. They have to think about four-bowler strategy. Their extra batsman did not score and extra bowler did not take any wickets. Dhoni also added that they have to think a lot and resolve on the basis of the pitch.
If Ashwin is picked in the team, then it will be a wise decision. Old Trafford pitch is suitable for Ashwin. That is the main reason Kevin Pietersen, after congratulating his own team, twitted about Ravichandran Ashwin‘s inclusion in the Indian side for the fourth Test match.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the good decision maker in the Indian Team. So if everything goes correctly, then we are going to see Ravichandran Ashwin in the next match. This decision totally depends on Dhoni. Let’s see how the Indian skipper improves his team, adding Ashwin or presenting a new theory in the next match.
