India tour of West Indies: The BCCI, on Monday (June 12), confirmed the schedule for Team India’s upcoming tour of West Indies. Rohit Sharma & Co. are scheduled to play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is against the Caribbean outfit. The series will be played between July 12 and August 13.
The tour will also see the return of Team India in action after the recently-concluded ICC World Test Championship final against Australia at the Oval in London. Team India suffered a crushing loss against Australia and will be keen to hit the ground running against the West Indies as they look to hit the top gear ahead of this year’s World Cup at home.
The tour will begin with the Test leg and will also commence the third World Test Championship cycle for both the teams. The first Test is scheduled to be played between July 12 and 16 in Dominica while the second Test is scheduled to be played between July 20-24 in Trinidad.

The Test series will be followed by the ODIs. The three-match series will be played from July 27 and August 1 in Barbados and Trinidad. It will be followed by 5 T20Is. The first three matches will be played in Trinidad and Guyana while the last two games will be played in the USA.
