Shakib Al Hasan:
Whenever a team prepares to explore the unchartered territory to face a strong opposition, they automatically tend to lean on the most experienced veteran. In Bangladesh’s case, the experienced veteran in the discussion is all-rounder Shakib al Hasan.
He’ll be a star attraction of course. His left-arm spin and reliable batting talent will make the Indians strategise better before they face Bangladesh. While his reputation is quite strong, it is his current form that might catch the attention of the opposition. In the first Test against New Zealand, Shakib faced the Kiwi challenge upfront and recorded his maiden double-century. In the following Test, he coupled it with a fifty to end the tour on a satisfactory note despite his team losing both the games badly.
