Right from the start of the tour, England all-rounder Moeen Ali has been facing problems against bouncers. Though he is the third highest run-scorer for England with two centuries to his name in the series but his issues against bouncers have been something which is clearly exploited by Indian bowlers who are cashing upon it. Everyone from Indian camp knows that Moeen Ali finds bouncers uncomfortable to deal with.
He, just like Suresh Raina, whenever receives a bouncer just hides his face thinking that he will escape it. It’s always the case that his blindside part comes in the way, either he is hit on his body or sometimes escapes with an ugly shot.
Today, Aakash Chopra, a cricketer turned cricket expert, had a piece of advice for Moeen Ali as he tweeted an article written by him on Moeen’s problem against the bouncers.
Moeen Ali could not take criticism on his chin and tried to troll him by pointing at former India opener’s short international career.
He, in fact, took a screen shot of Aakash Chopra’s international record in reply to Aakash Chopra’s advice.

Aakash Chopra, who was known to be calm and cool on-field cricketer, instead of hitting back at Ali, handled the matter quite gently and his reply forced Moeen Ali to delete his tweet as Chopra tweeted –
You’re most welcome, brother. Glad that the only bit you didn’t like in the piece was my career numbers ? Well done on the 2 ? Go well. https://t.co/7kkS7ARcRW

This was probably the best way to handle the matter. Had Chopra gone the Moeen way, then the matter could have escalated, but Chopra showed that, though he does not have a long international career, but is a mature enough; much more than Moeen Ali, who has so far played 36 Test matches.
Here is Moeen Ali’s apology:
@cricketaakash @ESPNcricinfo Thanks. I apologise. Was no need for it.
