India v New Zealand 1st ODI : Five talking points 1
  1. Brilliant bowling by the Indian fast bowlers in the first 10 overs

After winning the toss, the Indian new ball bowlers Umesh Yadav and Hardik Pandya bowled well. Despite Hardik Pandya going for 3 boundaries in his first over, he picked the important wicket of Guptil who struggled in test series. After that Umesh Yadav picked 2 important wickets of Kane Williamson and Taylor to push the New Zealand team on the backfoot. At the end of first 10 overs New Zealand scored 42 for 3. Umesh Yadav bowled with control. The Dharamshala wicket had swing and bounce.  Indian new ball bowlers made use of it and made life tough for New Zealand batsmen.
