  1. Good steady start by Indian openers

Chasing a target of 191, the Indian openers Rahane and Rohit Sharma provided the team with a good solid start. Both openers played attacking strokes and put the pressure back on New Zealand bowlers. Rohit Sharma and Rahane looked in fine touch. Both of them put on 49 runs in 9.2 overs. Rohit Sharma was dismissed by Bracewell for 14 hitting 1 four and 1 six. Rahane played some wonderful strokes.
