Starting the day on 239 for 7, the Indian lower order again contributed. Saha and Jadeja looked in great shape. Jadeja was dismissed for 14 after playing a poor stroke. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was dismissed for 4. The last wicket pair of Mohammad Shami and Saha added 35 important runs for the last wicket. Saha completed his half century while Mohammad Shami scored 14 off 14 balls before being dismissed. The last 3 batsmen added 77 runs which helped India to post a competitive total of 316.
